Nemrut Dagi Milli Park
This 2.150 metres high mountain is known as the point where one can watch the most beautiful sunrise and sunset scenery. On the peak of the mountain which overlooks the Euphrates there is a artificial tumulus and terraces facing east and west on which the monuments are displayed. It is believed that Antiochos is buried beneath the mound - In the peace in their lofty solitude sculptures of Zeus, Fortuna, Apollo, lion and eagle heads.
